Frequently Asked

Questions

Who does The Vitality Experience™ care for?

We provide telehealth services for adults 18 years and older, with plans designed to support health and wellness throughout your lifespan.

Do you accept insurance?

No. The Vitality Experience is a cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Receipts are available if you would like to submit them to your insurance company; however, reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.

Are laboratory tests included in the fees?

No. Laboratory testing is paid separately by the patient and will be ordered by the provider when clinically appropriate. When testing is performed through Quest Diagnostics or Labcorp, your health insurance may cover some or all of the laboratory costs, depending on your individual plan and benefits.

Are medications included in the program fees?

No. Medication costs are not included in program fees. Medications may be prescribed by the provider when clinically appropriate and, if prescribed, will be sent to your pharmacy for dispensing.

How are appointments conducted?

Appointments are conducted through secure telehealth, allowing you to receive care conveniently from your home or office.

How long are appointments?

Your comprehensive initial consultation is 45 minutes. Follow-up appointments are generally 15–30 minutes based on the program requirements and patient needs.

Can I contact Deb between appointments?

Yes. Secure patient portal communication with Deb is available between scheduled appointments for questions related to your care. She may respond via the portal or return your phone call depending on the complexity of the question.

How are labs and diagnostic studies handled?

Laboratory testing, radiology studies, and other diagnostic evaluations may be ordered when clinically appropriate. Results are reviewed with you as part of your ongoing care and will be available in your patient portal.

Can I participate in more than one program?

Yes. Depending on your individual needs and goals, you may enroll in one or more of our six-month focused programs.

Do you prescribe GLP-1 medications?

Yes. GLP-1 therapy may be available if appropriate to the patient and prescribed by a licensed clinician. Treatment may include individualized dosing strategies, including microdosing.

Where do prescription peptides come from?

When peptide therapy is prescribed, medications are dispensed through appropriately licensed compounding pharmacies. The Vitality Experience does not prescribe or recommend peptides sold for “research use only.”

Do I have to enroll in a six-month program?

No. Established patients who are not participating in a focused program may choose Integrative Primary Care & Annual Wellness for $420/year, which includes review and monitoring of laboratory results every six months and a 15–30-minute lab review appointment with personalized recommendations. Laboratory costs are separate.

What do I do in a medical emergency?

This platform is not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, do not attempt to seek emergency care through the patient portal. Call 911 or seek immediate in-person emergency care.
